One Film Africa was founded in October 2025 as a response to a growing need not just to tell African stories but also to sustain the people who tell them. We build a platform that connects filmmakers, nurtures talent, and opens pathways to production, funding, and distribution.

One Film Africa envisions a future where African filmmakers are empowered with real access to opportunities, resources, and audiences. We seek to build a sustainable ecosystem where authentic African stories are supported from development to distribution and recognized both locally and globally.
At the heart of One Film Africa is a simple mission: to tell human-angle stories, stories rooted in people, real lives, and the conversations we rarely have. We focus on narratives that spark dialogue around community, mental health, and social impact, using film as a tool for connection, awareness, and change.
